“We bought this house because it’s in walking distance to everything – the Town Centre, Leisure Centre, Train Station and parks to walk the dogs!”
Built in 2015, this wonderful home has been very well maintained and improved by the current owners that moving in would be a breeze.
The first thing that strikes you about this house is the brilliant parking available. Two allocated parking spaces side by side outside the front of the house mean no need to juggle cars in the morning.
The entrance hall is laid with Karndean flooring, which flows through to the main living space, meaning wet footprints are easy cleaned up. A large WC is off the entrance hall and has plenty of space for additional storage of coats and footwear.
The stand out feature of this perfect starter home is the open-plan kitchen and living space. “We fell in love with the living space as soon as we saw it. It’s so sociable as when you’re cooking you can still interact with anyone at the dining table and sofa. It’s really flexible to; the lack of walls mean more space to layout your furniture”.
Appliances in the kitchen include a washing machine and fridge/freezer which are integrated, creating clean lines. There is also an eye-level electric oven and built-in microwave as well as a gas hob. There is ample cupboard space as well, meaning the worksurfaces can be kept clear – a real bonus in open-plan properties.
French doors lead to the rear garden which is relatively private due to how set back the houses behind are. There is a patio area, shed and side access.
Upstairs is the large master bedroom with built-in sliding wardrobes that have shelves as well as hanging space. The second bedroom is again a good size with an alcove for a double wardrobe freeing up even more floor space.
The third bedroom is a large single that can comfortably fit a bed and wardrobes. Alternatively it would make an ideal home office, like how the current owners utilise it. There is an airing cupboard on the landing as well as a separate storage cupboard.
The family bathroom is almost fully tiled and has a useful ledge for all your toiletries. A heated towel rail provides that added luxury on colder mornings!
